Meeting with GCC PROW:
I had a useful meeting with John Lane, Deputy to Alan Bently, the GCC PROW team leader. Following the meeting 3 issues affecting CoH trails have been followed up: the contract has been let to re-hang Potlickers Lane gate from the other post; the gates at Severnhampton have been fixed although Lois has informed me that there are ongoing problems there of which GCC are aware; GCC have the money to improve the surface near Brook Farm at Cranham but they are awaiting assistance from the Cotswold Wardens to get the work done. John Lane has promised to let us have a copy of their work programme for next year.
Social event for members:
We are having a BBQ on 21 August from 6.00pm, probably in Dursley. The details will be discussed at the next Committee Meeting in June. Please note the date for your diary.
